2006 Volkswagen Jetta is a 5-door front-wheel drive sedan of the 5th generation from the German manufacturer. The debut took place back in 2005 in Los Angeles, and already in 2006 the model was presented to the European consumer.

The base of the sixth Golf was used to create the car. The model impresses with efficiency indicators, elegant style and improved technological characteristics.

The 2006 Volkswagen Jetta comes with a standard turbodiesel 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine that produces 150 horsepower. In the line of power units, a 2-liter 4-cylinder in-line engine is available, which concentrates 200 “horses” under the hood.

Exterior design

The car has increased in size compared to its predecessors. The wheelbase has become longer, and the weight has increased. Such changes made it possible to improve rigidity, and the trunk and interior received more space. The front radiator grill is made in a chrome frame. Small horizontal chrome trims will appear in the side segments of the air intakes. Fog lights are integrated into the bumper. The central optics are slightly inclined and add dynamism to the overall appearance of the car.

The rear window harmoniously fits into the C-shaped pillar, which is characteristic of the coupe body. At the stern, the double chrome exhaust pipes attract attention.
