Specifications

Both petrol and diesel engines are available to choose from. Among gasoline: the first with a volume of 1.6 liters, which generates power of 102 and 115 horsepower, two turbocharged engines, the volume of which is 1.4 and 2.0 liters, capable of delivering from 122 to 140 and 150 horsepower, respectively. The diesel line is represented by two engines of 1.9 and 2.0 (turbocharged), which produce 109 and 140 horsepower, respectively.

The 2008 Jetta diesel engines are said to be practically the best in their class. The motors can work in tandem with a 5 or 6-speed manual gearbox, as well as with a robotic six-speed one. As for the “robot” swinging, problems can often arise with it when the mileage reaches 150 thousand km., Therefore, it is not recommended to take a car in this configuration. This gearbox does not perform well when driving with “traffic jams”, which significantly reduce its service life.
